How is Nokumo priced?

Nokumo is priced at €11 per accommodation unit per month on the Starter plan, scaling to €19/unit/month on Pro. An 'accommodation unit' is any individually managed room, apartment, villa, or property. Annual billing saves approximately 18–21% depending on your plan.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account receives a 14-day free trial with full platform access — no credit card required. You get access to all features on the Pro tier: channel manager, PMS, booking portal, eVisitor, ePorezna, and FURS integrations. If you need more time to evaluate, contact us and we will extend your trial.

What's included in the base price?

The Starter plan (€11/unit/month) includes the full PMS, channel manager (20+ OTAs), direct booking engine, Croatian eVisitor integration, unlimited user accounts, and email support. The Pro plan (€19/unit/month) adds Slovenian FURS/AJPES, 60+ OTA connections, advanced revenue management, and priority support. Nokumo Pay, Self Check-In, and Websites are add-ons priced separately.

Question 4

How does Nokumo Pay pricing work?

Nokumo Pay charges 1.7% + €0.15 per successful transaction. There are no monthly fees, setup fees, or hidden charges. Transaction fees are automatically deducted from your settlement. Nokumo Pay includes 3DS2 EU compliance, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major card networks.

What does Self Check-In cost?

Self Check-In is €0.49 per guest check-in for standard use. For high-volume operations (typically 50+ check-ins per month), a monthly plan of €19/month + €0.19 per guest is more cost-effective. The threshold and the switch between plans is managed automatically.

Question 6

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Monthly subscribers can cancel at any time with no cancellation fee. Your account remains active until the end of the billing period. Annual subscribers can cancel but are not entitled to a prorated refund for the unused portion unless the cancellation is due to a material platform failure on our part.

Do you offer agency or reseller pricing?

Yes. Accommodation management agencies operating 10+ properties under management can apply for our Agency programme, which includes discounted per-unit pricing, a dedicated account manager, and white-label options for the booking portal. Contact sales@nokumo.net.

How quickly can I go live?

Accepted Answer

Most properties are fully live within 7 days. Day 1: account creation and property setup. Days 2–3: OTA channel connections (automated mapping). Days 4–5: fiscal system registration (ePorezna/eVisitor or FURS/AJPES). Days 6–7: team training and booking portal activation. A named Customer Success Manager guides you through each step.

Do I need technical knowledge to set up Nokumo?

No. Nokumo is designed for accommodation operators, not IT teams. The OTA channel setup uses guided mapping wizards. Fiscal registrations are handled by Nokumo's compliance team in most cases. The booking portal is configured through a visual editor. If you get stuck, your CSM is available by phone and video call.

What do I need before I start?

To get started you need: your property details (address, room inventory, pricing), your OTA account credentials (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.), your company tax number (OIB for Croatia, MŠ for Slovenia), and an existing eVisitor or FURS account if applicable. Nokumo can help you obtain eVisitor credentials if you don't have them.

Can I migrate from my existing PMS?

Yes. Nokumo supports data migration from Rentl, Beds24, Smoobu, Guesty, and most other platforms via CSV import and API. Your reservation history, guest database, and rate plans can be migrated. Migration typically takes 1–2 days and is included in onboarding.

What training do you provide?

Onboarding includes a live video walkthrough with your CSM (typically 90 minutes), access to the Nokumo Knowledge Base with 200+ articles and video guides, and 30 days of priority email and phone support post-go-live. Additional team training sessions can be arranged.

Does Nokumo handle Croatian ePorezna fiscalisation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Nokumo generates fiscalised receipts compliant with the Croatian Fiscalisation Law (Zakon o fiskalizaciji) in real-time for every transaction. Receipts include a JIR (Unique Invoice Identifier) and ZKI (Protection Code) as required. No additional software or hardware is required.

Does Nokumo integrate with eVisitor for guest registration?

Yes, directly. Nokumo pushes guest registration data to eVisitor (the Croatian Ministry of Interior portal) within minutes of check-in. The integration supports all required fields including document type, document number, country of origin, and purpose of stay. Bulk pre-registration is also supported.

What about Slovenian FURS and AJPES/eTurizem?

Yes. For Slovenian properties, Nokumo submits fiscal receipts to FURS (the Slovenian Tax Authority) in real-time and registers tourist arrivals with AJPES/eTurizem. Both integrations are native — not third-party add-ons — and are included in the base subscription.

Are you ready for EU ViDA (VAT in the Digital Age)?

Yes. Nokumo's EU ViDA module is available now, two years ahead of the 2028 mandatory deadline. The module generates e-invoices in EN 16931-compliant format and prepares the data structures required for continuous transaction reporting (CTR) when national implementations go live.

Is Nokumo GDPR compliant?

Yes. Nokumo is built GDPR-first: all data is stored within EU data centres (Microsoft Azure, Frankfurt and Amsterdam), we maintain a full Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with every customer, payment data is tokenised via Stripe (never stored on our servers), and we have 4-hour breach notification commitments. Do you support German VAT reporting?

Yes. German VAT reporting and TOMS (Tour Operators Margin Scheme) calculations are supported for Austrian and German properties and for Croatian operators hosting guests on a package tour basis. Contact us for a detailed compliance assessment for your specific situation.

How many OTAs does Nokumo connect to?

Nokumo connects to 60+ OTA channels including Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Google Hotels, VRBO, Agoda, HRS, Hotelbeds, and many regional channels specific to the Adriatic market (Kroati.de, Atraveo, Reconline, TUI Villas, etc.). All channels are bidirectional: rates, availability, and restrictions sync in real-time.

How fast does availability sync across channels?

Availability and rate updates propagate to all connected OTA channels within 60 seconds of a change in Nokumo. This prevents double-bookings and ensures you're always selling at the correct rate. Booking confirmations from OTAs appear in Nokumo within seconds via webhook.

Does Nokumo have an API?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Nokumo REST API is fully documented at docs.nokumo.net. It uses OAuth 2.0 authentication, returns JSON, and supports webhooks for real-time events (new reservation, cancellation, payment, guest check-in). A sandbox environment is available for testing. API access is included on Pro and Scale plans.

Can I connect my own accounting software?

Nokumo natively integrates with MiniMax, IPC, and Pantheon (coming soon). For other accounting systems, you can use the API to push invoices and revenue summaries, or export data in CSV or XML format. Most accountants familiar with Croatian or Slovenian tax software can work with our exports.

Is there a Stripe integration?

Yes. Nokumo Pay is built on Stripe and is enabled with a single toggle — no Stripe account required. You receive payouts directly to your bank account, with automatic deduction of the 1.7% + €0.15 processing fee. If you already have a Stripe account, you can connect it instead of using Nokumo Pay.

What is your uptime SLA?

Nokumo targets 99.9% platform uptime on a rolling monthly basis, excluding scheduled maintenance windows (typically Tuesdays 02:00–04:00 CET). In the event of unplanned downtime exceeding 4 hours in any calendar month, Pro and Scale customers receive a service credit equal to one day of subscription fees.

Where is my data stored?

All Nokumo data is stored in Microsoft Azure data centres in Frankfurt, Germany and Amsterdam, Netherlands. Data never leaves EU jurisdiction. We do not use any non-EU cloud regions, even for backups.

How is my data encrypted?

Accepted Answer

Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. All data in transit uses TLS 1.3. Payment card data is tokenised by Stripe and never stored on Nokumo servers. We complete annual penetration testing by independent security researchers and operate an ISO 27001-aligned information security management system.

Who has access to my data?

Accepted Answer

Only you and the staff accounts you explicitly authorise. Nokumo engineering staff have audited, time-limited access for support purposes only, and all access is logged. We do not share customer data with third parties except where required by EU law (fiscal authorities) or your explicit instruction.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

After cancellation, you have 30 days to export all your data. After the export window closes, all data is permanently deleted from Nokumo servers within 7 days. We provide export in JSON, CSV, and PDF formats for reservations, invoices, and guest records.
