For a standard check-in with card payment and fiscal receipt, the process takes under 60 seconds: pull up the reservation, confirm room assignment, charge the card, and print the fiscal receipt — all on one screen. No switching between systems.

What happens when a guest's payment card is declined?

Nokumo displays the decline reason from the payment processor and presents options: retry, charge a different card, or accept an alternative payment method. The reservation remains open while you resolve the payment — it does not cancel automatically.

Can I check in a guest who booked through Booking.com or Airbnb?

Yes. OTA reservations sync to Nokumo within 60 seconds of booking. The folio is pre-populated with the guest's name, stay dates, room type, and OTA commission data. You check in the guest exactly as you would a direct booking — no separate OTA login required.

Does Nokumo submit eVisitor or eHrp guest registration automatically?

Yes. For Croatian properties, eVisitor data is submitted to the Ministry of the Interior automatically when you complete check-in in Nokumo. For Slovenian properties, eHrp submission works the same way. No separate government portal login is required.
