Can I schedule exactly when messages go out?

Yes. Timing is configurable per rule: 3 days before arrival, 1 hour after booking, 24 hours after checkout. Scheduled sending runs on the rule engine, so precision does not require anyone to be at the desk when the message should fire.

Does messaging integrate with Self Check-In?

Yes — the pre-arrival email carrying the check-in link is a messaging rule, so the two products compose: messaging delivers the link via the @selfCheckInLink template variable, and Self Check-In collects ID, payment, and signature. Check-in completion and the messages around it all live on the same reservation record.
